The buzz is likely caused by either a grounding issue or the actual mic/mic cable has a problem. As noted above, if you are using a laptop check and see if you have the buzz when running on battery. If not, then it is the power supply on your laptop. These are often grounded poorly or not grounded at all. | ||

To access the gain input in your PC’s control panel, go to Start Menu/Control Panel/ Hardware and Sound/ Sound Then navigate to the “Recording” tab, then right click your MIC.
