yes... get into FSS, leave your tuner all the way to the left, and just move around until your arrows turn orange
badloop |
you can now see how a site like Coriolis is helpful. at higher levels you have a million options and you can plan your ship ahead of time before you even build it. then you can use inara to find where the items are that you need and fly there
badloop |
it will automatically scoop for you
badloop |
you just fly close enough to the star to scoop, but not close enough to overheat.
badloop |
specific stars.... O B A F G K M
badloop |
the power draw | ||
badloop |
again, it depends on how far you want to go. if you're just gonna bounce back and forth between systems till you upgrade your ship, then you probably don't need it
badloop |
I'm sure you've realized this, but by playing this game you've unlocked Pandora's box. haha
badloop |
you'll have to unload your cargo first from that rack
badloop |
are going to go | ||
badloop |
it depends on how far you
badloop |
yes | ||
badloop |
its very unlikely that you'll get shot here. this is pilots federation space.... most everyone leaves this space after a few missions. you can also play in \"solo\" mode and you'll never run into other real people

this game looks like star citizen but with fun and actual things to do
badloop |
you've just done what is called the \"loop of shame\". when approaching your destination, when your \"time\" amount that is under the distance shown your target gets to around 7-8 seconds, you need to slow your ship to 75% speed to avoid overshooting. super cruise *should* do this for you... but some of these planets are tough
thedoudi |
yo man badloop hooked you up
badloop |
mind the rings... lol | ||
badloop |
look for a fuel scoop under optional internal while you're there
badloop |
just go to mawson | ||
badloop |
keep your tuning all the way to the left
badloop |
yes you are doing it right. look around the system until your arrows turn orange
badloop |
you are now doing the key activity associated with exploration..... if you scan every body in a system, you can turn that data in to \"Universal Cartographics\" at any station for money
badloop |
each time you find a signal source, it will be of a specific kind: encoded emissions, degraded emission, etc. each of these things is something you can take your ship to and find resources of some kind
badloop |
you want signal sources.... all signal sources are on the far left of the tuning bar
badloop |
also if you have a mission that requires scanning the arrows will show up as orange for the mission objective in the scanner
badloop |
it becomes second nature very very quickly
thedoudi |
sheeeeeit dis complicated mayne
badloop |
think of the bottom bar as a radio tuner... you have to get it on the right station to be able to hear the signal correctly
badloop |
check under \"mode switches\"
badloop |
I don't know the keyboard bind for it.... check your config |
